perfect for my requirements. I hesitated a lot between this and the 32 size which has higher specs and is cheaper (amazing) and has rave reviews. However I dont really want a TV that is too big to carry and I really dont like the 'piano black' that a lot of other models have. This TV has a sophosticated matt black (a bit glossy) finish which is perfect for watching films with the lights lowered, the matt finish becaomes part of teh shadows. I understand 'piano black' is difficult to keep clean too. Its Ok for a young family or a couple perhaps who need a big Tv as a centrepiece but I want mine to be a bit less obstrusive. I note too that the 'subtitle' function is easy to access. I was worried it might have inferior performance because the contrast ration is half (15000) that of the V series (including the 32 size which is cheaper). But i needent have worried. It really is a lovely Tv, easy to handle. A doddle to set up. the design is lovely too, all black except the thin silver line at the bottom. Very classy. thanks Sony and Amazon.

I hesitated for a few weeks before buying this TV and was trying to decide between this Sony and a Panasonic. I eventually went for the Sony as reviews told me that picture and sound quality were better.
I have only been using this television for one week now but I can say that I am delighted with it. The picture was great to start with - but I did choose to adjust colour intensity and sharpness slightly (nice that I can do that) and it is superb now. Available sound volume is plenty for me - and I am deaf. I found it easy to set up and use, although I have a few minor gripes about the design of the remote control. All in all a great TV - which I would recommend to anyone. Looks sexy too!

Excellent performance. Super picture. Wide range of sound settings. And the best price I found anywhere.

Pretty good value for money, the picture and sound are both excellent.
After acouple of months use I am happy I made a good decision.

Superb picture quality, excellent sound and the usual sturdy Sony build.
My only gripe is that there isn't a short-cut on the remote control unit to quickly...
